Today the PlayStation Vita officially launches in America and gamers like me are extremely exciting. I do not have my Vita yet but I do know that I want the 3G model cause I feel that being connected to the internet always is really important and fun. With the 3G PlayStation Vita you are able to take your online gaming on the go and it does not stop just with gaming. The Vita also comes with apps that take advantage of the 3G internet connection. Here are my 5 reasons to get the 3G model of the PlayStation Vita.
I love portable gaming cause I can play on my time rather then just when I am home. What has been lacking from Portable gaming is trophies but now the Vita has it and it works great. Earning trophies on the go is something I been waiting for a long time. Having the 3G Vita means that you can stay in touch with your PSN friends everywhere. I don’t know about you guys but I’d rather talk to my PSN friends then my friends on facebook.
I love twitter, I love using it on my iPad cause my Android phone just does not feel right. The twitter app for the Vita looks great and I it runs better then what most people have on their phones.
I completely understand that if you have a smart phone with 3G or 4G already then you might find it silly to pay extra for 3G on the Vita. Let me tell you guys from my experiences outside that you can’t always depend on your phone’s data connection.
With “Near” you can find other gamers around you based on your location. If you have only wifi then you are stuck in that spot but with 3G you can go everywhere to meet new players.
Being able to download games on the go is truly a game change. It is amazing that you can buy your games without having to go to the store. Same thing goes for PartyPoker.com, You can play poker without having to go to a Casio. How great is technology? Tell me what you guys think in the comments below.
