Video game reviews, Why there are not so many on Gamer Motion?

I personally have mixed emotions when it comes to video game reviews. On 1 side I think its not worth it cause the top sites already have their review posted before I even get my copy. On the other side I feel people expect video game reviews. As gamers we all seen bad reviews and thought “I could do better”. In some cause I seen regular fans put out better reviews than the pros but the fact is that reviews take up a lot of time. Playing and beating the game is not enough, You have to explore and pay attention to details. This is why I often tell my friends that I spend more time blogging about games rather than playing them because I don’t have enough time to play a 6-10 hour story mode, Go trophy hunting and explore online modes. That pretty much sums up my situation with reviews. If I spent a lot of time focusing on them then this blog would be mostly reviews and that is not what I want. So, I got 3 solutions to this problem.

Solution 1) Gamer Motion is looking for review copies

If you are a developer or anyone that can supply us with review copies/ review codes that would help a lot. Email me at Nelson@GamerMotion.com. It can be any platform (iOS, Android, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, 3DS, PS Vita).

Solution 2) Focus on portable gaming reviews
Being able to play these games anywhere helps a lot and they are cheaper.

Solution 3) Guest Bloggers handle reviews

Thankfully I have a couple of people who have taken interest in guest blogging on Gamer Motion but now I need more focus on reviews rather than news. Review posts do not have to be long. Keeping it short and sweet is key. Writing experience is not really necessary. As long as you can put together a blog post and get your point across I will be more than happy to have you on board. I completely understand that guest blogging may not interest some people because it is volunteer BUT I am strongly considering offering gust bloggers 1 month of gamefly so that you can continue reviewing games or you can just take it as an reward. Also, If I get review copies/ codes that I am unable to use I will pass them along to you. I am looking for people that I can trust and count on and help build this site and the gaming community. If you are interested please email me Nelson@GamerMotion.com.
