New York Comic Con is this weekend and most people are getting their plans together so I figure I let you guys know what I got in mind.
Press
I will not go as press mostly cause this is my first comic con and I really want to enjoy it as a fan. Also, Gamer Motion as a brand is only 10 months old. I wanna build up the brand before I go out all call myself “Press”. I’m still gonna take a bunch of pics and video for 3 days but I wont spend all of my time doing coverage.
Gaming
Expect coverage and demo impressions from the PlayStation, Nintendo and Ubisoft. Theres gonna be others but those are the 3 I got my eye one.
Live Streaming
My original idea was to try out live streaming but from experience I can tell you that it rarely goes as planned. I do want to try live streaming certain parts of comic con but I wont know when until I’m actually there.
Meetups
Originally I had planned to schedule meetups for my friends and my followers to hang out but I quickly realized that it wont happen. Everyone has their own plans and most of them want to be with their friends. I understand that some people do want to meetup and all I can say is to follow me on twitter to find out where I am. Most likely I will be talking with friends or shooting video but if you visit my blog I want you to say hi. Maybe even take a picture with me or get on a video.
Facebook
Be sure to click “Like” on the facebook page for GamerMotion and MyNerdBlog. I expect to have hundreds of pics and facebook is the easiest way to share all of them.
After Parties
Meetups during the con are really hard but after parties are a more easy way to get your friends together. I been talking to people about where are the best after parties.
